MulteFire Alliance Welcomes Latest Wave of New Members

By Mazen Chmaytelli, President of the MulteFire Alliance

MulteFire Alliance momentum and activities are heating up as we enter the last days of summer. We recently wrapped up one of the Alliance’s most successful Open Days in Espoo, Finland (read about it here), which drew members and interested stakeholders from across Europe to learn about advancements in MulteFire™ technology through presentations and panels. The gathering also gave us an opportunity to recognize the significant efforts from some of the Alliance’s most impactful contributors over the past year.

As we turn our attention to the remainder of the year, I would also like to highlight another noteworthy milestone for the organization. Over the last 18 months the MulteFire Alliance has tripled its membership, bringing our current membership to 44. Since our last new member blog in February, the Alliance has added five new members.

  • Keysight Technologies (Test Lab Participant): Keysight is a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers, and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world. Its solutions optimize networks and bring electronic products to market faster and at a lower cost with offerings from design simulation, to prototype validation, to manufacturing test, to optimization in networks and cloud environments.

  • Motorola Solutions (Full Member): Motorola Solutions creates mission-critical communications solutions, including devices, networks, software and video, that help public safety and commercial customers build safer cities and thriving communities.

  • Redline Communications (Full Member): Redline Communications is the creator of very capable Private Dedicated Secure LAN and WAN networks that have been developed from the ground up and designed for mission-critical grade applications. It operates in challenging locations around the world ranging from offshore to deep beneath the earth, and from the Antarctic to desert regions. Redline networks are deployed by oil and gas, mining and utility companies to manage onshore and offshore assets, by militaries to secure battlefield communications, by municipalities to remotely monitor infrastructure, and by telecom service providers to deliver premium services. Redline platforms are designed to augment existing communications to rapidly give next generation capabilities.

  • System Innovation Group (Adopter Member): System Innovation group, LLC (SIG) was established in 2017 with the goal of supporting US and Foreign Government Agencies, as well as specialized commercial communication providers with modern networking and cellular solutions.

  • ZenFi Networks (Adopter Member): ZenFi Networks owns and operates a carrier-neutral dark fiber network specializing in fronthaul, backhaul and wavelength connectivity to enable the Internet of Things (IoT). Its New York City purpose-built network is the infrastructure that underlies and enables connectivity in today’s mobile world.

I am pleased to welcome these new members to the Alliance as they demonstrate the ever-expanding diversity in the MulteFire community – bringing expertise from their respective fields, as well as a shared interest in and enthusiasm for the technical advancement and market success of MulteFire technology.

Along with other Alliance board members and officers, I will be at MWC Americas in September. If you’re interested in meeting in person to learn more about membership options and benefits, contact press@MulteFire.org to schedule.
